Move Toward Restoration
What Does Restoration Look Like in a Chaotic World?
And what does it mean to move toward the hurting within that context, to provide solace and healing? These are questions I ask myself now, but as one who lived through decades of trauma, all I knew then is that I needed deeper rest, and time to process and heal in an atmosphere of safety. I benefitted greatly from individual psychotherapy, but yearned for something comforting and soul-nourishing to move me toward my next steps. I just couldn’t find it.
This Christ-centered mission is designed to complement counseling practices, churches, and other entities that seek to support the mental well-being of those living through emotionally challenging circumstances.
At Restoried, we seek to provide opportunities for suffering individuals to process emotional pain and develop resilience individually and communally. We aspire to engage people toward healing through art, music, dance, writing, poetry, drama, equine, somatic, and nature experiences where grief and trauma can be gently attended to within inspired, safe, and creative surroundings.
Recovery outcomes are improved, creating positive, relational ripple effects in families and communities. New, redemptive restories are compassionately fostered, leading to emotional and spiritual renewal.
At times, individuals may recognize a need for deeper or more specialized support. Restoried is designed to come alongside those who are hurting by offering healing experiences through a range of proven alternative methods—such as art, music, writing, and embodied practices—that are not always available within traditional individual counseling. These offerings are facilitated through weekly groups, as well as small and large-group retreats, providing a communal and experiential context for reflection and restoration.
For those seeking individualized therapeutic care—whether one-on-one or in small group settings—where trauma, pain, and longstanding patterns can be explored more deeply over time, we invite you to visit Bread & Sword Counseling, Molly’s private counseling practice. This setting is intended for clients desiring a more focused, ongoing therapeutic relationship to support meaningful and lasting change.
